The morning session continues with Mountaineering, Oceania, Polar Exploration and Voyages. The afternoon begins with Topography and a private collection of books relating to Cambridge. This sale includes one of the finest collections of books illustrated by Edmund Dulac and Arthur Rackham to be sold in recent years. The 57 volumes are almost all the de luxe issues, signed by the artists and bound in vellum. Private Press is one of the most popular subject areas at Bloomsbury and we are delighted to be offering over 200 lots from the property of Anthony Dowd. We have also a large collection of works by Cecil Aldin.
