Prehistoric and Historic Artifact Auction

Featuring the Leo Paul Davis Collection. This auction contains the largest public offering of this varied and well documented artifact collection. Leo Davis was featured in Who's Who in Indian Relics #3 (1972) and #7 (1988). His artifacts were documented in many of the publications of the day. Many people will remember the fine flint pieces from his featured frames. This sale also contains a significant portion of the Lewis McDaniel Collection. The McDaniel collection has been in storage for decades. It is comprised of large blades, Bannerstones, Pipes, Axes and other artifacts from Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Over 25 pottery pieces, primarily from the Rick Fitzgerald collection round out this extraordinary offering. Many of the pottery pieces have been pictured in prominent books, such as Roy Hathcock's Ancient Indian Pottery and Quapaw Books. A great auction to be a part of. Dozens and dozens of previously documented (pictured) artifacts. Nearly 200 artifacts with independent, well regarded certificates of authenticity.
