On November 2nd, Toomey & Co. will present its next Keramics & Rookwood: American & European Art Pottery auction with close to 400 lots curated by specialist Riley Humler. Encompassing vases, bowls, pitchers, and more, along with decorative items like landscape plaques and sculpture, this signature sale features works by notable artists and makers from primarily the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Here are just some of the celebrated Rookwood artists represented: Grace Young, Carl Schmidt, Sara Sax, Kataro Shirayamadani, Edward T. Hurley, Arthur Conant, and Lorinda Epply.
