Day 1 Important Asian Art & Chinese Paintings

The California Asian Art Auction Gallery's Fine Asian Works of Art auction, scheduled for October 14-15, 2023, will feature two separate sales. The first sale will take place on October 14 and will showcase the Important Asian Works of Art & Chinese Paintings. On October 15, the focus will shift to the Fine Asian Works of Art Online sale. The highlights of these sales encompass significant Chinese works of art from the esteemed Little Meditation Retreat estate. Notably, these highlights include a group of rare Tang/Sui Dynasty Buddhist stone carvings, a set of three jadeite carved figures representing Liu, Guan, and Zhang, a magnificent Ming Dynasty 'Red Ground Yellow Enamel 'Dragons' Jardinière,' and a collection of fine Qing Dynasty jade carvings sourced from various collectors and estates. Furthermore, the sales will feature an important Chinese Calligraphy album and a miniature Landscape handscroll from Pu Ru from a significant collection in San Francisco.
