Offered in our upcoming auction, we have an exceptional selection of O gauge, 3-rail model train engines, tenders, and cars. With over 100 lots, these items range from the meticulously preserved to the rustic and charmingly aged.
Among the highlights of this collection are several 4-6-4 steam engines, such as the impressive Vision 700E NYC steam engine with Vanderbilt tender, and various models (#2056, #2065, #2046, #2055, #226E) accompanied by their respective tenders. A couple of models showcase the ravages of time, with rust and paint damage adding character and history to these pieces.
Other locomotives include multiple 0-4-0 steam engine switchers, 2-8-4 Berkshire steam engines, 2-6-4 steam engines, a 2-4-2 steam locomotive, and several diesel engines from various railroad lines including the Santa Fe, Seaboard Railroad, The Milwaukee Road, and B&O Chessie System.
We also offer an extensive range of train cars. From practical workhorses like the Lehigh Valley hopper with cable reels, Bucyrus Erie crane cars, and auto-loaders, to specialty pieces like the Sunoco tankers and the poultry dispatch car, these models reflect the diversity and function of a real-world rail system. Some of these train cars show signs of wear and damage, testifying to their history and authenticity.
The auction also includes an assortment of passenger cars. Multiple Lionel Lines passenger cars, Northern Pacific coaches, Southern Pacific Daylight cars, and the distinctive City of Seattle, City of Dallas, and City of Phoenix cars from the Train Collectors Association are some of the key attractions.
