Because of our success with selling historic artifacts, once possessions of J.P. Morgan (1837 - 1913) at our sale in May 2011 where most of the lots were items used aboard his Morgan's yachts, many consignors have enlisted us to continue selling their own personal kept treasures once owned by the famous financier including: A pair of solid silver salts from the 19th century yacht ?Corsair? showing an engraved depiction of the yacht and ?S.Y. Corsair? engraved in the front. 19th century Mintons teapot showing New York Yacht Club burgee and the Morgan private signal flag and others.
