Session 2: Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art
Oakridge is pleased to present this stunning, 191 lot session of Chinese ceramics, bronzes, and rich carvings of various mediums. The session kicks off with a variety of ceramics, many of which possess delicate famille rose details and illustrations, dating from the Song and Yuan dynasties to the Republic period. Following the offering of ceramics, the sale transitions into a stunning collection of silver, inlaid with various precious stones, notably jadeite, intricately carved lacquerwares, carved coral and turquoise, and stunning works of carved huangyang wood. The sale rounds out with a selection of fine bronze wares and toggles, including various ritual objects, toggles, censers, and pieces original to the Han dynasty.
