This Spring, Hindman is pleased to present a curated selection of significant Chinese works on paper, porcelain, jade, and classic furniture. Highlights include the elegant Narcissus by Liu Dan (b. 1953), painting and calligraphy by Wu Changshuo (1844-1927), an 18th century Chinese brown and polychrome lacquered armchair, a Chinese Jiaqing mark and period green enameled ‘dragon’ dish. This season’s sale features property from the collection of Cheng Bao-nan, Taiwan, the estate of Makoto Sakurai, the estate of Pamela K. Hull, and other private collections.
