Along with these highlighted lots are an additional 296 lots of railroadiana for collectors of all levels. The first 200+ lots include keys and locks on the odd numbered lots. The key collection is a continuation of the collection that we offered in our January 2023 sale. There are a large number of Midwestern and Southern United States keys including some scarce keys sure to fill gaps in a number of collections.
The even numbered lots include a wide array of items from the Pennsylvania Railroad from a collection of one family that span multiple generations on the Pennsylvania railroad. The Thursday highlight of this collection is the pass collection that spans multiple railroads and multiple years all issued to the Baker family. Throughout this two day auction you?ll see many lots referencing J.B. Baker and A.B. Baker. Both gentlemen worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and worked their way through the ranks eventually holding notable seniority in their respective departments. There are also a number of pieces of Pennsylvania dining car silver and china from this collection included in the Thursday session.
