Miitary & Naval History Auction Hotel Thayer, West Point, NY On the Grounds of the Nation's Oldest Military Academy Aution Times: Saturday, September 11, 6PM Sunday, September 12, Noon *Important* Bring Photo ID to enter grounds of the Military Academy and the auction at Hotel Thayer just inside the South Gate. You can also walk from the Reception Center & Museum parking lot about 1/4 mile to the Thayer. The museum is oen daily from 10am -4:15pm. When using GPS search under Points of Interest and scroll to West Point Military Museum. This will bring you within a 1/4 mile of the South Gate. Auction will include: Pistols and Rifles before 1898, swords from the mid 17th century to early 20th century, knives covering similar periods, historical china, historical prints, paintings and sculpture of military subject matter, American Indian items, powder horns, scrimshaw, uniform parts such as buttons, hats, epaulettes & etc., Nautical items, marine art, ship models, 1/2 models, Northwest Coast Indian items, Historical, Military and Naval related Stevengraphs.
