Hindman’s Modern Design auction will feature American and European design spanning the 20th and 21st century. The first section of the auction features masterworks of American studio ceramics, furniture, and glass. A suite of exceptional pottery by Harrison McIntosh will kickoff the sale and will prelude ceramics by Don Reitz, Richard DeVore, Toshiko Takaezu, Peter Voulkos, Ruth Duckworth and more. Standout pieces of studio furniture include works by Art Carpenter, Silas Kopf, Sam Maloof, and Wendell Castle.
