FIRTH ESTATE AUCTION
We are proud to be selling from the Firth Estate ?Beauvoir 1663? on Trappe Creek on Maryland?s Eastern Shore. The Firth?s moved to Beauvoir in the 1930?s from the Philadelphia area and are descendants of the well-known Livezey family of Philadelphia & Germantown, PA region. This is the first of 3 auctions of this Historic Estate. This auction includes Antiques, Silver, Gold Watches, Export China, etc. Our next auction will include the early bottles, toys, and remainder of antiques. The third auction will be an Ephemera auction selling the Livezey/ Firth collection from the last 3 Centuries. It will include 18th Century Indentures, 17th-20th Century books(including books printed by Ben Franklin), photo albums, maps, etc. Some of the ephemera will be able to be seen during the preview for this auction.
The Livezey family settled on 500 acres, which is now part of Philadelphia in the 1670's. Thomas Livezey was known as one of the most successful millers in Colonial America during the 18th Century. We have obtain much paperwork and books from Thomas and his wife Martha.
