Treasures from a distinguished San Francisco private collection anchor the offering of Asian art in March. American art includes two William Keith paintings and fine works on paper by Dale Chihuly, Jim Dine and the great sporting watercolorist Chet Reneson. Featured artists include Carl Morris (American, 1911-1993) whose works range from WPA murals to Abstract Impressionism, and Kim Frohsin (b. 1961), a San Francisco painter and assemblage artist. Also offered are Miro's "L'Homme au Balancier” and a number of contemporary fine art photographs. In fine jewelry, Boucheron ladies’ wristwatches are featured. Diamonds and sapphires bedazzle the leaf motif ear clips attributed to Tiffany & Co. There are cabochon rings of tourmaline and jadeite, a carved jade butterfly brooch and gorgeous gold necklaces. Period jewelry includes fine Victorian pieces. Modernist and contemporary furniture includes the puzzle chair by Eugenia Butler, shelves by Castelli and the Eames black leather lounge chair and ottoman.
