Santa Monica Auctions Annual Summer Sale

SANTA MONICA AUCTIONS is holding it's annual Summer Live Public Art Auction to take place on Sunday, June 1st at 1pm at Bergamot Station Arts Center. The sale features the work of both mid-career and established artists of all mediums including modern and contemporary painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, multiples and prints. Highlights from this sale include Important works by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Billy Al Bengston, Ed Ruscha, Damian Hirst, unique drawings by Jim Shaw and Raymond Pettibon, and one of the earliest documented canvases by Ed Moses. Included as well are important works from the Estate of Stuart Katz. Unlike other auction houses, SANTA MONICA AUCTIONS will take significant works for consignment right up until the date of the sale so there are always last-minute surprises.
