David Dike Fine Art Texas Art Auction

David Dike Fine Art presents the now, semiannual Texas Art Auction. The Spring sale features 249 lots of early to contemporary Texas Art. John Stone, a Dallas art collector for the past 40 years, offers 60 paintings from his collection.
Assembled with passion and adored for many decades, the collection of John Stone is inspired by nature and his appreciation and love for Texas art, both contemporary and rooted in the tradition of the early Texas landscape oil painting. The Spring auction features paintings from Dallas's own Otis Dozier, Olin Travis, Edward Eisenlohr and Merritt Mauzey. Texas Modernism is represented by collections of Seymour Fogel and Zanne Hochberg among many others. Louis Murad of Murad Auctioneers will conduct the sale. (Louis Murad TXS 13362)
