African American Historic & Cultural Treasure

Featuring a remarkable collection of rare documents, manuscripts, and other treasured items tracing African-American history, the Civil Rights movement, and African American music. Gregory Reed is a Detroit-based lawyer who represented Rosa Parks for many years, consequently ending up in possession of a number of documents relating to the civil rights movement. Also, Original signed contract between Joe Jackson and Steeltown Records, November 21, 1967. This contract signed The Jackson Five to their first professional label. William Adams, of Steeltown Records, has signed on both the President and the Secretary lines. Joseph Jackson has signed the artist line. Document has been stamped and signed by a notary public.
