Large Collection of Wedgwood - Over 1000 pcs

Day two includes unusual and desirable Wedgwood from the estate of a South Florida gentleman. Many representations of British Royalty and historical figures are included, with several objects dated to the 18th and early 19th centuries, and a number by award winning artists of their era. Highlights include rare representations of Wedgwood Lustre, Black Basalt, Jasperware, Queens Ware, and many decorative designs influenced by the cultural discoveries of the 19th century. These objects originate from the collection of a retired South Florida hotelier who collected over many decades. Since 1759, Wedgwood has been the British standard in fine china, porcelain, and luxury accessories, inspiring collectors and connoisseurs of the decorative arts.
