The session begins with forty-six lots of contemporary glass and design from the collection of Ms. Debra Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks, including works by Lino Tagliapietra, Dale Chihuly, Therman Statom, Joel Philip Myers, Philip Baldwin & Monica Guggisberg, Vladimira Klumpar & Michael Pavlik, and unique collaborative sculptures by Albert Paley with Martin Blank and John Lewis. Modern Design continues with a T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Mesa table and over forty lots of George Nakashima furniture, including fresh-to-the-market private collections and spectacular pieces from Folly Cottage. Eleven lots of Harry Bertoia metalwork, including an exceptional large Bush, Willow, and Sonambient.
