The Saturday sale in May features an impressive array of decorative arts and furniture from late 19th century through contemporary design. The auction of over 400 lots presents collectors and enthusiasts with much to appreciate, including studio glass, furniture, decorative arts and silver. A diverse group of Asian decorative items ranging from Chinese ceramics and porcelain to Buddhist sculpture and Asian furniture are offered. Notably, a handsome pair of Lantain Jade fu-lions seated on rectangular bases are featured at the beginning of the sale. A signed Chinese cloisonné vase from the 19th century is also offered at the start of the day. Younger buyers interested in the 90?s revival will surely be drawn to items from a private estate featured in the popular Buzzfeed article ?This House Hasn?t Changed Since the ?90s, And It Looks Like Your Childhood?. A set of K. Nurminen Nuutajärvi art glass cordials in tones of blue and green would provide a pop of retro style to any get-together, while various Murano or Murano style studio glass pieces would provide a neat revival accent to any room.
