The Monday session of this outstanding 2 day event features about 400 lots from 3 fine single owner collections of specialized material. The sale begins with almost 140 lots of 18th/19th C Battersea Bilston enameled boxes, with a few porcelain boxes added in for variety. It is a stunning collection lovingly developed over many years. The second portion of the sale contains about 100 lots of fine Meissen porcelain, from larger multi-figure groups and single figurines to a wide variety of tableware form the Marcolini Period through the early 20th c. There are also about 100 lots of other fine German, French, English, Italian, and other porcelain and ceramics, all from a massive unpicked collection of over 50 years. The session concludes with almost 300 pcs of Irish Belleek from a single estate consignor being sold in 42 lots. While much of the collection is mid-late mid-20th c 5th/6th Green Mark, there are several choice examples of early First Period Black mark that will attract the serious Belleek collectors.
