Stefek's Auctioneers & Appraisers "Traditional to Modern: Collector's Auction" highlights an array of furniture, decorative items, and fine art ranging from the late 18th century to contemporary pieces. Traditional furniture of note includes a Lyre Banjo clock by Aaron Willard, a Great American Eagle Civil War snare drum, a Rhode Island Queen Anne-style wing back chair, and a Hepplewhite-style two-part banquet table and chair set. Traditional works of art feature "The Visitation" drawing by Sebastiano Conca and an oil on canvas painting by Callander Goldsmith entitled "Firebrand". Modern furnishings of interest include a Cassina 413 CAB chair, a T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb lounge chair, a Tommi Parzinger floor lamp, and several lots of Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller DSS and DAX-1 stacking and arm chairs. A selection of handwoven rugs will be offered, as well as an assortment of 18th and 19th century Chinese decorative items. A range of Modern art includes work by Catherine Latham, Gustavo Novoa, and Sarkis Sarkisian. Stefek's Auctioneers & Appraisers is also pleased to offer a collection of fine jewelry and Hermès scarves. Jewelry highlights include a 14k yellow gold lady's England charm bracelet, lady's slide bracelet with assorted cameos, a pair of 18k yellow gold swirl earrings designed by Dunay, and a 14k yellow gold lady's charm bracelet. Over 150 Hermès silk scarves will be presented during this auction.
