This sale features a diverse scope of property, ranging from 18th century Americana which was part of a superb private New England and Michigan collection, known as the Rosebrook Collection and the sale continues through the centuries leading us up to a modern George Nelson designed Action Office Roll Top desk for Herman Miller and a Hans Wenger Papa Bear Chair and Ottoman. The sale also features nearly 100 lots of signed and first edition books from modern masters and poetry greats such as Hemingway, Faulkner, Robert Frost, William Styron, Wallace Stevens, Samuel Beckett and many more. In terms of Fine Art, we are offering a terrific oil on canvas of a coastal scene by Alfred T Bricher and a fabulous bronze maquette by Henry Moore, titled Warrior without Shield.
