My family has been going to Schmidt's Antiques for over fifty years. We have had bought and sold quite a few items with absolutely no problems. Anyone looking to sell should definitely consider consigning with them.

Once again, Schmidt's Antiques Inc. auction house shines! One of the fastest and most personable houses I have dealt with. Everyone was great and they communicated with me from the start. The other thing that makes them outstanding, is they didn't run the auction price up with "fake" in-house bidders like so many are doing. HONEST HOUSE!! Thank you so much for a wonderful auction!! Between the auction house and one of their recommended shippers (Manny) the whole process went very smoothly.

Three antique calendar clocks all exactly as described and shown. Responded quickly to emails and called when I changed shipping plans to make certain they knew what I wanted. The recommended local shippers were also very responsive, easy to work with, did a great job packaging and no surprises on costs. Wonderful experience all around.

Schmidt's auction was easy to follow prices were good. They provided information for two shipping companies. I chos UPS. Every thing arrived in perfect condition and in a timely manner. They offered free local pick up which I would recommend if possible.

Schmidt's is one of only two good auction houses to buy art in Michigan. They are very friendly, helpful and cheerful, and they have great stuff. Very nice presentation inside their gallery as well!

Accurate description and good value

We have been customers of Schmidt's for many years. This most recent experience was as good as always; in fact, they let us pick up our items when they were scheduled to be closed. I don't know many businesses that would do that. It helped out a lot, since we were in the area and would have had to drive back (2 hours each way) another time if we weren't able to arrange this.

Schmidt's has been around for over a century, and they have remained the best by far. Other houses have gone corporate, or media, or both, but Schmidt's remains a family owned and operated business that outshines them all. Don't forget to stop in the art gallery. It's a gem.

So pleased with Shmidt’s! Have never experienced the send-us-a-prepaid-label for small items as a form of shipping and it’s brilliant and inexpensive which is the opposite of most auctions these days. Highly appreciative of the offer and it will certainly bring me back for more. The experience was positive in every way, great items, terrific help. Just a perfect experience.

We wanted extra photos of a lot, and they then posted them on the site. Once I won the item, they were very helpful in moving the shipment along quickly.

I have dealt with Schmidt's for the first time recently. I'm based in the UK so my purchase and subsequent shipping has had itas challenges. Elizabeth at Schmidt's could not have been more helpful. Her responses were rapid to the point and helpful. I've yet to receive my lot in the UK but regardless I'm very impressed with this auction house and the staff.

Can't wait to see what nice items they will have at their next auction!

Schmidts Auction House is a fantastical place to visit and walk among the beautifully curated collection of magnificent antiques in the showroom! The prices are fair for the amazing quality of the merchandise. The auctions are very well run, informative, exciting and rewarding when you find the right item to add to your home collection!

One of the Best Auction companies in Michigan!

I've been participating in their auctions for at least 29 years. Doing so I have acquired many treasured possessions. Always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I look forward to their future auctions.

Chuck is a Hands on Guy! He was personally there to deliver my clocks! He also took great care in packing, wrapping and numbering every item so all parts matched upon delivery!
