I purchased 3 items from same auction, 2 small belt sets and a bayonet …. it was $60 to ship them from Pennsylvania to Illinois. When I contacted them and asked why the shipping was so expensive, the owner was a completely jerk.

Excellent auction house. I have bought many pieces of art from them.

In my decades of buying, never in my life have I experienced such incredibly professional, personable, & expedient shipping & packing!!! This auction company is first rate-don't ever be hesitant to use them!!! Thank you, Hartzells. As Schwarzenegger said: "I'll Be Back"!

Very nice items but the shipping is quite expensive. I bought a photo and stereoviews and paid $26.00 for in-house shipping. Based on that experience I won't be following them.

Use of Live Auctioneers results in an extremely slow rate at which items sell. Makes for a long and weary day at the computer.

Shipping cost is slightly higher than other auction houses, and the packing is insufficient.

There was a little snag in my purchase but this auction house bent over backwards to make sure it was straightened out to my satisfaction. Things don't always go as smoothly as you may hope and when something happens that needs attention it is such a relief to find honest and caring people to work with to get it straightened out. I cannot rate this auction house high enough for giving care that their customers are properly taken care of and all issues fairly resolved. Thank you!

Never recieved the items... no response to email requests

I was in search of a certain antique clock, and Hartzell's had one at auction. The auction house was very responsive to my messages. They were a pleasure to deal with in all stages of bidding, winning, paying and shipping. I recommend Hartzell's for a fine auction experience!
