They either lost or misplaced my prompt payment, then filed a bidder dispute against me, they somehow found my payment and dropped the dispute, I never received an explanation or apology. Will never use their site again: poor customer service, fear of their incompetency repeating.

American Pacific Auctions is one of my favorite Auction houses. I LOVE the way they handle their shipping policies. They have excellent customer service and wonderful items to explore on a continual basis.

I paid for the item and then about a week later the owner of the auction stuff notified me he had opened a case on me because of NON-PAYMENT!!!!! This was not true and I am not sure what happened but I wrote him a couple times and he never said anything else and then the stuff arrived!! No apology or answer to what happened. So sad as I tend to buy a lot and now???

I still havn't recieved the items I supposebly won and it cost me almost 30.00 dollars more then I bid I'm not to satisfied and I wont be participating anytime soon

Was disappointed with the item. The photos and the actual item were very different. A description should have included that "bonded sapphire" was actually stone chips in a resin mold. The chips could be sapphire but impossible to tell through the green resin. The mold was unfinished, with rough edges.. terrible product.

Did not send item as pictured. Pictured item and description was for unsorted/unseen roll of pennies, received a clear container with pennies quite different from picture and description, auction company refuses to respond to my "questions to auctioneer" Will never do business with them again and will ask credit card company to help with claim should they not respond

Item sent to me was not the item described in the auction. Auction described item as in-opened roll of 1991D pennies, instead I get a roll of pennies in a plastic containing clearly gone through etc. I have emailed them to send me return shipping and refund my purchase price and shipping

The purchase was paid for and cleared the bank June 8. I still have not received the auction item. I did email them and received an automated response that all purchases are sent out 12 business days from receipt of payment and a tracking email would be sent prior. Today is day 14 and nothing from them.

buyers or bidder should be able to return lots,,, i won several lots that i was unhappy about and wished to cancel but was told that if i didnt pay i would not be able to bid on anything else,,, what about the lots i did win and pay for,, dont they count for something,, plus the buyer premium is high, and then the worst of all is find shipping and getting it arranged,,, and i have Still not received several lots i have won and paid for,,,, so overall i would have to give you a D-as a grade,,,

Won small item of loose gemstones on March 20th. Its April 14th and still not received item yet. Called on April 5th and was told on April 6th that it would ship the week ending the 14th. Shouldn't take 25 plus days to receive item.

Of almost 30 items won since early March, I have only received 4 items and 2 of the items did not match the picture of the items won. The 10-day receipt expectation has not applied. I have been asked to return the items once and when they received the new shipment I can exchange. I fear no notification of new shipment. I have paid all invoices within 2 days of receipt except 1 because the link did not work. Customer service person is nice but unresponsive since the items I won have not been received.

The product description was lacking, they sent me an item that was not the same item that was in the picture on the auction. I feel like I got scammed and will not be buying anything from them ever again. They truly make me not want to use liveauctioneers app anymore because I hate getting scammed. My purchase was only for $100 but I am sure they have scammed people out of more money. I would take them off your liveauctioneers application immediately if you want your company to have a good reputation. I have bought other items from more local auctions through liveauctioneers and have been satisfied (i. e. Saco River Auctions) I feel bad for them because they are an honest auction house and dont deserve to be on the same liveauctioneers app as scam artists like american pacific. I would happily accept my money back and happily send american pacific this shitty item back if I knew I would actually get my money back. for now I will just call it a loss and never buy from them again. I think its illegal to advertise that you are selling someone one product and then a totally different item shows up after it has been paid for.

None of the products were as quality as described. Appraisals and estimated values were highly inflated. The $1200 appraised pearls weren't even strung properly or even knotted between pearls.

Hi, I'll start with the positive. I buy a lot of coins. At moment it would in excess of $1K a week. Mainly through three auctions via Invaluable, some through EBAY and some via Australia auction houses. And the coins on offer via Pacific auctions are some of the cleanest I've seen-by that I mean I couldn't see one that obviously looked like a fake.. That's why I decided to buy and trial some purchases even though the postage charges are really high and some of the prices are way too high. However, I purchased coins on the 20/1 and 21/1 and gave it a week. I sent a request to say will they forward me a tracking no and they advised me very curtly that they post items out after 7 to 10 days. Although it had been 10 days since my first purchase. Since then i haven't received or be notified about a tracking No so I have no idea what is happening. So I can't purchase anymore until I see the coins and this whole experience makes me feel like it's not worth. In adddition, the postage charges are really high for an auction house that seems to do in house mailing. It really makes it very unprofitable to me when I can go elsewhere in the US (I live in Australia) and get 50 coins mailed for $30 to $40 postage and they charged me that amount for 5 coins. I could say more about how the listings had different pictures to the item so hopefully I'll receive the item I ordered. regards Darren

Hello, I never receive my items. I ordered items from september 13 to september 21 and i never receive my goods. The reason American Pacific Auctions didn't ship me directly my first items is because they (and me) wanted to combine shipping. But now, i sent a message the 15 october to know the status of my items and I didn't receive a single response. Very dissatisfied

The item I purchased was great, just received it a couple days ago. no issues with any descriptions communications etc. shipping took awhile but I understand that they had a lot of items to pack and ship and they did communicate that to me after the auction when I paid. The person I spoke to at the auction house was great, very nice lady and appreciated her communication. overall would buy from again and as stated before the item I purchased is fantastic love it.

It took almost a month to receive my items and when I did they were not the items pictured. It appears the auction house uses stock photos and then ships items similar. What is so deceptive is that they described both items as "scarce," when really they are selling dozens of the same items every month with the same pictures. The Hungarian note I received had a different serial number then the one I bid on, and the statue had markings in different places. It is a shame that this auction house is allowed to do business alongside legitimate auctioneers selling what they have pictured on their sites. This experience was a big turn off to ever using Live Auctioneers again.

I bid on two bronze animal weights from Burma that turned out to be fakes. It was not possible to determine this from the catalog picture: the patina was painted on, there was no wear (thought the bases had been hammered to suggest this), the casting was substandard, and the verification marks were all wrong. Again, this could not be determined from the photos. I have just received them and have immediately contracted the auction house asking for a refund of the price and shipping; I have so far not received any reply.

This bid was a mistake. Being new to online auction, the phone fell and bid was hit. Extremely overpaid for a piece of rock. Wrote to vendor. Explained what happened. They Gave option to get credit. Nothing of interest and not about to pay more for things don't want. They were not considerate. Decided to close live auction account because one slip up and there is no turning back.
