I was so disappointed with the process, since this was my first time, and the seller was very rude in their response to my e mails and refused to answer shipping cost. This will be my last time. I refused the item I bought and left it in the shipper for them to dispose of.

I made the payment promptly and later sent an email asking that they confirm receipt of payment and also requested a change to the shipping address. No response to that email. I waited a few days and sent a follow up email repeating the same requests. Still no reply. I called and they then confirmed receipt of payment. They asked for payment to ship and I did so promptly, and sent an email asking that they advise the tracking number. No response. After a few days I sent another email, they advised that it would ship soon. I replied thank you, and please advise tracking number. After a few days with no reply I sent another email, their reply said it would arrive quote tomorrow unquote, but still no tracking number was provided. Tomorrow came and went, but no package. I called them for tracking number, which was then provided. They had shipped to the quote original address unquote and not the address I had repeatedly asked that they send to. Disorganized, nonResponsive to say the least. I will NOT be a repeat customer for them.

They mishandled the payment process. there was no way to pay online or over the phone at first. Then they sent me an invoice to pay via live auctioneers which had a handling fee (which I paid). Then they later sent me a way to pay through the Hudson Valley Auction House. However the email did not say Hudson Valley but something totally different. Overall, very amateurish in their payment process.

Non-negotiable post auction shipping is ripe for abuse. 9lbs. shipped at $100 seems a bit steep. Maybe this is usual and as a 'newbie' should expect this but the florida auction a few months ago shipped 3 x the weight for 1/2 the price. Hmmmmm

I phoned and/or emailed the auction house regarding shipping approximately 10 times. 10 days after auction's end, when I threatened to cancel the credit card transaction I finally received a response that told me not to bid on their auctions anymore. Horrific customer service and a total lack of professionalism.
