I've reached out to the auction house several times. Only to be ignored. When I asked condition of each of the lots they flat out lied. If that wasn't bad enough in their ineptitude they failed to include a stopper to one of the perfume bottles rendering it completely worthless. They cannot be trusted. They are dishonest, Incompetent and couldn't care less about customer relations. They just want your money and don't care what lies they have to tell you to get it.

This was our second purchase and couldn't be happier.

Sorry, I have been burned with items that photograph well by turned out to less than described from this auction house on three separate occasions: 1) bought was clearly marked reproduction. Not in the description as such. 2) bought a tiller in used condition but was junk 3) brought jewelry as estate but came from China lab. 4) they lost a large desk in the warehouse & never found it. where is as is has been their excuse. I am done with them. Watch what you buy online.

Lewis and Maese are a great company. They have great antiques and they good auctions and delivery service was in a few days of receiving payment. I have enjoyed walking around their store and finding things I didn’t know I needed. They have good quality stuff.

I’ve purchased from them for over 30 years and up to now they have been quite professional. I’m very disappointed. A buyer should be given written notice if in fact their goods were lost or resold. I was never told this.

Beautiful 19th century painting, a rare depiction indeed. I still cannot believe I won this item. The artist is, actually, unknown. The image itself is of the last ruler of the Inka empire, Atahualpa. The artist misspelled the name of the canvas itself, which adds charm to the image. Big, carefully packaged box, arrived safely. Much better experience this time with L & M than my first which was... extremely stressful.

The 3 earrings that I purchased are beautiful. They were exactly as they had them pictured. And the prices were good. I have already worn 2 of the sets and I loved wearing them.

This particular auction company is poor in communications AND customer service. I'll never shop here again.

They don't ship & released my item to a shipper without properly giving it a shipping label first.

I look at many auctions and but because of their outstanding service, I will continue to use them over any other.

It was my first time purchasing a gun and was a pleasant experience. I had no idea of what to expect but they walked me through the process, background check, etc. I was glad they actually do a background check to hopefully prevent guns in wrong hands. Great auctions and will continue to follow them.
