Delicate Item well done by this Auction House!

MB is a really good auction house. The ads and photos are never enough to get a really good idea of what you're spending hundreds/thousands on; longer descriptions and more photos would be wonderful. I'm hundreds of miles away and can't make the preview. But, compared to some other auction houses, which post a 1-sentence description and two photos/scans, MB is better than most. The majority of items I've won have been pretty close to the description. When I've had questions, they were answered within a reasonable time. The auctions run smoothly; I'm normally contacted almost immediately with an invoice and info on shipping. The shipping quote comes within a couple days, and a tracking number follows shortly after that. I've participated in five or six MB auction over the past couple years and plan to continue to participate.

Buyers beware of their shipping procedures. I would expect an auction house to be more professional in their shipping skills. Collectibles should not be allowed to rub and bang against each other during shipping, no matter what their value is. I received my items in a pile in a plastic bag like a garage sale. I am very disappointed.

Shipping Saint services wrapped for 4 necklace charms and 1 ring in one half of a 12 "x 12" bubble wrap, crumpled 1 piece of paper on the bottom of a 7 x 7 box and 2 above the bubble wrap. USPS ground advantage, counter cost, calculates at $8.85. $28.58 packing supplies and packing. This was not a lengthy, delicate or needing lots of packing attention box. Love Matthew Bullock Auctions but I will have to evaluate the impact of Shipping Saint when i bid in the future.

I purchased a card at an auction online from Matthew Bullock in March. In the description it said crease, but there was no crease in the picture. After winning the card, I called to find out what they meant by crease as there was nothing in the photo. About 15 minutes later I received a few pictures showing the entire left corner of the card was creased from side to side. So bad that the card was worthless. I called back to ask why it wasn’t pictured that way, the phone attendant said her boss said I’m sorry it said crease in the description you’ll have to buy it. The card was pictured clear and without any creases, but the card was so badly creased it’s worthless. It is the auction House’s responsibility to clearly portray any defects or issues with any product, and if they do not its their mistake. This could have been handled easily by simply taking the card of my invoice, but instead they made me buy it knowing that they did not clearly show the issues. I felt like this was a scam and really bad business. I will never buy anything from this auction house again, and I would encourage everyone else to be very careful to buy anything from this dishonest auction house.

Product was good, but asked them to ship USPS, to which agreed. However they shipped UPS, which resulted in excessive shipping costs & high hidden processing fees.

I was very relieved that their online site walked me through every step. When I was fortunate enough to win, they shipped my item to me for a very reasonable cost. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I could not be more pleased with this auction.
