Seller was able to meet me for pick-up on a Saturday morning. Well organized, professional operation. Unfortunately they are just too far from me and shipping is always too expensive. Otherwise, I would definitely buy from Valley Auctioneers again.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND WHEN I PICKED UP MY ITEMS IT WAS VERY QUICK AND THE PEOPLE WERE FRIENDLY

I purchased a silk shawl. The shawl was fine, but the shipping company charged me $50 to ship a think silk shawl to the US. This should have cost around $20. I should have read the previous reviews, as other customers have had the same rip off over charges from the UPS store that is recommended by the auction house.

My complaint is more with the shipper then the auction itself though it is the first shipper on their recommended list. I purchased a small 3 by 3.5 inch bottle for $20 plus the buyers premium... the shipper (Rick Hayes, the Packaging Store) charged me $44.58 to ship this tiny bottle. It arrived in a plain 6 x 6 inch cardboard box with a bit of bubble wrap and crumpled paper around it. To the auctions credit they seemed upset and told me next time if I purchased a small item to call them first and possibly get in house shipping. However, that doesn't help me on this transaction. I got raked over the coals. $20 would have been to high for shipping and handling IMHO but I wouldn't have complained about that. This shipper told me he charged $25 to pick up the item; packing and materials and actual shipping cost the other $20.... I know ********** well he must have have picked uo numerous items to be shipped... at $25 a pop he made a fortune... this has left me feeling very badly about this experience, paying twice the cost of the item to get it shipped....

I have been to several of Valley’s on site over the years. Their transition to on-line auctions, has carried the same professionalism and trustworthy service that we had come to know for years.

Bidding & buying at Valley Auctions was a great experience. So EASY start to finish. Afterwards, I needed to have my items shipped but subsequently had a family emergency. I notified Valley Actions of my situation & April immediately came to my rescue. She is the kindest & most helpful lady who immediately soothed my concerns. She lined up my items with The Packaging Store (Rick) who then quickly contacted me. Everything ran so smoothly & I couldn't be happier with Valley Auctions as well as their recommended shipper: The Packaging Store. I look forward to attending more auctions at Valley Auctions.

Coins was nicer than expected

Purchased seven (7) cookie jars from Valley Auctions thruLiveAuctioneers.com. They responded to questions prior to auction. After winning items went to purchase and noticed there was no in house shipping. I did not know they customer must arrange for shipping. I had never had to use an outside shipper as auction houses purchased had in house shipping or arranged for shipping company to contact me. Reached out to liveauctioneers and Valley Auctions and was given one shipping store near there location. Great communication with packiaging shipping company. They did an amazing job packaging all seven (7) cookie jars so everything arrived in perfect condition. They were expensive but it was worth it to have everything arrive safely. Valley Auction descriptions on website and thru communication were very helpful. Would purchase again from Valley Auctions. Thank you!

Horrible shipping. Lied to me when I called. Said shipper died. Baskets not wrapped just put into a box and mailed. I hope to never deal with them again. Something needs to be done.
