Very attentive people, good experience. Happy with purchase.

The cost to shop a rifle was $195.00. I’m use to paying much less than this for a insured, signature required shipment so I don’t know why it was so pricey.

The people at this auction house are very professional, responsive, and helpful. The shipping department is very skilled. The packing job on the guns that I purchases was a thing of beauty.

Great experience

Gun is actually nicer than I expected... There are more stress cracks than described but not much more trouble to repair... Shipping was fine on Cowan's part... UPS could have broken the gun into three parts and packed in egg crate foam making a smaller package... Bubblewrap and somewhat loose in the box is not good... No damage but more likely with the way it was packed... Also, UPS shoved it on my porch leaving a foot hanging off which got wet with rain... Still no damage... Again, no fault of Cowan's... Very pleased with the gun and Cowan's despite UPS fumbling...

Like all auction companies they are not great at communication. But it all was good in the end.

On of the most professional auction houses I have came across, to include an exceptional staff with excellent customer service.

Delighted with the quality of photo's for each listing and accurate descriptions. A timely response to inquiry for additional information. I contacted Cowans after processing payment and the item purchased was shipped immediately. Plus great job of double boxing/packing. I will not hesitate to bid on items in future Cowans auctions.

I'm Sorry that Feels that the Auction is totally "As-IS 'even after not being told of the 2 damaged lamps long before the auction began. They must have forgot that I Did" Request an overall condition report of Glass in advance of the auction "in my first email! The large missing Flake on the Best Blue Lamp was not mentioned in my answered request? In All Honesty, Anyone selling Glass would have thrown away that" Tea-Cup "piece instead of hiding the 3 chunks of glass missing in the rear of the only photo. (Like buying a car at auction with No mention of the doors missing on the other side) I will no longer be biding at Cowans' Auction. Antique Investments, selling oil lamps since 2005.
