not only did I never receive these items, Summit Auctions never gave me a refund! After calling and messaging them many many times I had to file a claim with my bank to try to get my money back! I would NOT do business with them ever again! They never called me back-made me chase them for answers and NEVER got one! MY ITEMS WERE NEVER RECEIVED!! After 2 months I was patient enough and just wanted a refund-which they did not give me. I am still waiting for a call back! These people are very difficult to deal with. I am very disappointed and find them to be irresponsible. After a 2 month delay I should have had a full refund immediately. I also should not have had to call them 20 times to get answers. I would NOT recommend doing business with them.

My recommendation would be to totally avoid this auction house. I have purchased many items through Live Auctioneers and this was by far the worst possible experience. When Summit sent the invoice, they did not include a link for payment. Accordingly, I called and talked to a very nice lady. She said they were experiencing software problems, but she would take my info over the phone, which she did and I managed to pay. I also asked about shipment; she said she would be glad to take my address and arrange for the shipment. That's the last I heard from them. Numerous phone calls, voice e-mail messages, attempts to contact their recommended shippers. Zilch!!! I finally sent LiveAuctioneers a message asking for help and got no response. None!! So I alerted both of them I was going to reverse the charge on the credit card and also alerted Live Auctioneers. No response from neither of them again. So I reversed the charge. A ton of hassle for an item I would have liked to buy. Don't bother with these people!!

The package was dispatched quickly and inexpensively by international mail and reached me about 10 days later. The goods were well packed and as described.

I would like to thank the staff at Summit for making my auction experience absolutely phenomenal. Their attentiveness to helping me pack my things and suggesting other items I would like to purchase, even going to the hardware store to buy some ties to make sure my items were correctly secured when I picked the stuff up, as well as their warm welcome to me and sense of humor, were very much appreciated. They educated me on aspects of Asian art and antiques as well as the whole auction process and I learned a lot from them. If you need someone in the Houston area to conduct an estate sale, I would highly recommend this group. They were honest, caring, and nice folks who knew what they were doing, and if I knew about them when my dad died, I definitely would have used them for his estate sale.

Still have not received my items. Numerous calls to shipper have gone unanswered. Auction house did respond. Said items were picked up and there should be no problem. Said they sent message to shipper. That was at. Beginning of this week. Any suggestions appreciated.

Dreadfully overpriced shipping charges from pack n send & ups less than 1 # recycled packing supplies. I'm dropping my live auction acct. Too many auction houses do a disservice to on line bidders w little or no over sight on shipping. Figure out how to do it better. Take out the randomness & unprefictabilty of S & H
