Worst of the worst. Promised this piece as well as another post auction buy and never been so blown off in all my life. Probably close to 100 emails from me on getting the pieces as well as la kicking them off future auctions. Although I’m sure they ll just open under another name if not already. At least they didn’t charge my credit card and never send the pieces. Why on earth do businesses and people exist like this..........

This auction house took my money and disappeared. There are many new auction house which maybe fraud. Liveauctioneers did not help or do anything.

We paid New Castle for the item the day after the auction. We paid through Live Auctioneers. New Castle refuses to deliver the item, and refuses to respond to requests regarding the actual location of the item and an estimated date of delivery. Dealing with New Castle is so humiliating, it has caused us to reconsider bidding on other Asian items listed on Live Auctioneers. We have made LA aware of the problem. LA continues to list New Castle's auctions. We are posting this public review as a warning to any one who is considering bidding on New Castle's items. There are professional, reliable sellers on LA. New Castle is not one of them.

I did my payment use my credit card by Email for three times but they don’t take, I have to call them no one answer the phone always So I think they don’t want sale the item because maby someone want give them more money!? They too bad!

I paid them and after almost a month of trying to contact them they FINALLY let me know they actually did not have the ring and they would refund my 15, 000. Terrible.

Dear Sir or Madam, it's good that you ask! A few weeks ago I bought a Chinese vase at Newcastle Art & Antiques Gallery for about 25, 000 US dollars. For packaging and shipping I paid an additional 500 US dollars. I paid immediately by express bank transfer. The auction house constantly invents new excuses, why the shipping is possible not yet. In addition, the communication is very bad. Either I get no answers to my demands, or only very late and inadequate. I very worried and now I have the impression, that Newcastle Art & Antique Gallery is a pseudo company which is fraudulent. Can you please help? This auction was held on 9/3/2016. The auction house took my credit card info on 9/8/2016 and charged me on 9/9/2016. After a week I sent them a few messages through the LiveAuctioneers website, called them on the phone and sent them an email to the address listed on their invoice asking for information on when the vase I won would be shipped (they charged me $30 for in-house shipping). I received no reply to any of my contact attempts until a couple of days ago. They sent a brief message saying they needed more time. So basically 3 weeks after they charged me for the invoice I have no idea when they will ship my item, a very small vase. They have a new auction starting next week so its pretty bad if they haven't yet shipped the items from last months auction. I'm getting very concerned as my experience with places that take this long to ship means they might do a rushed packing job at the last minute to get the item out and then I have to deal with the item if it gets damaged en route.

This is an extremely dishonest auctioneer.

I think that they are not honest, because they are deliberately pushing the prices up which makes me feel uncomfortable. Therefore, I do not want to complete this deal.
