I purchased a lot of 3 retablos, lot 12. Two of them were almost exactly alike and did not appear old. It was difficult to tell in pictures. I am a retired art teacher with a masters degree in art education, a painter, and a collector of Mexicana. I called to return the two and was told they do not take returns. Other established auction houses will return misrepresentations.

i have been collecting coins for over sixty years and know when a coin photo has been altered. the seller has some terrible reviews, warning other buyers to not participate in the auction. no returns and very poor customer service.

2nd time i have been screwed by this auction house. beware.

Auction house was efficient and professional. Arranged for both a preview visit in advance of the action, and in person pick-up, and they were very accommodating. Items won were good quality, and as described in listing.

This was my second acquisition from Turner. They are very nice people to deal with but I have a couple of complaints. All their auctions are online, but I live very nearby. I sent a message asking if I could see the piece I wanted to bid on. It would've been fine if they had said no, but they did not respond. Pick up is a bit of an issue as you need to make an appointment and their hours are limited. But if you don't live near them, and you are getting things shipped to you, that part doesn't matter.

Won small pair of earrings from them on 12/17/2022 and paid immediately. Advised to contact one of their preferred shippers for shipping to me. Reviewed shippers and selected RM Shipping as their address was same as auction house. Sent an email to them and filled out their required paperwork to authorize shipping. Advised Turner auction who I selected for shipping. On 12/17 and 12/19 sent follow up emails to RM Shipping to make sure they had received all required for shipping. No response from them. On 12/28 sent email to Turner Auctions to make sure RM Shipping had contacted them. Finally, on 12/30, got email from a Richard Ming saying what my cost was. Received package on 12/9/2023 via Fed Express.
