I have been buying books through National Book Auctions for several years, and I have always found good books at good prices, with exceptionally accurate descriptions and photos of every lot. Shipping has been reliably timely, and if anything, has only gotten better. NBA is one of my favorite auction sites.

I buy books often. The least they could do if your spending your money is to give you an accurate description. How about a few pictures? I would have liked to know how much foxing was going on inside the book But since it was omitted I hoped that their was a better interior. If they mention foxing etc. at least the customers might bid appropriately. Just be please do a better job. Be honest. It happens more often than it should.

They pack your books very well for shipment. I have been buying books from them for over 5 years and will likely continue to do so.

Items are as described-the ample photos always help. Packaging is very good, and the items are well protected during shipping.

These folks don't send an automatic invoice and then don't ship until you ask-well maybe they do for big customers but for small lots you need to ask. I've stopped buying from them. You shouldn't need to ask for your books.

I have been bidding in NBA auctions for many years now and am a very satisfied customer of this business. Although I tend to seldom win most of the books I bid on, I just chalk that up to bidding against people who want the book more than I do. My experience in many auctions is to avoid becoming romantically attached to an item and to have a general idea of what comparable bids have been in past auctions. Also, it's critically important to carefully study the condition-information about the books as well as to note whether or not the books represent a complete set. I always look forward to receiving the books I win-a little bit like Christmas. NBA is a trustworthy and knowledgeable auction house; my only regret is that as I've aged, I have less room for more books.
