Showed I was the winning bid and send me an email to the effect. Waited for invoice and after a several days emailed them and was told they had made a mistake and other bidder had won... Not something a high-end auction house would let happen...

I received my camera as described. The auction house's communication is very smooth and effective. I received my package within one week, even faster than some domestic packages. Very solid and secure packaging, I will recommend Leitz Photographica Auction for fine cameras auction.

Perhaps not so nice as described (Oxidation)

Overall a great experience! The camera arrived as shown in both pictures and description. The entire setup included antique canvas carrying case, tripod, camera, extra lens, ect-all arrived in great shape as they were expertly packaged. Despite shipping from Austria to Florida, the cost was more than reasonable. Heck I recently paid more to have a similar setup shipped from California. This was my first purchase, but I will most certainly keep an eye out for future auctions. The entire process was smooth and I would highly recommend Leitz Photographica Auction.

Avoid this company. They use a fraudulent payment method (Wirecard was indicted) that killed my credit card twice.

the service is crazy expensive 6 % of fees! that is 300 €for 2 items! moreover the fees explanation is really not given i will not use anymore

I'm confused about the time between "fair warning" and hammer. On some items the time was short; for other items the time seemed long. Is there a policy on how long the auctioneer will wait for other bidders to make up their mind?

I still. have not received the expensive lens bought from the Westlich auction. There was a one week delay in receiving their invoice, which went to the junk file in my Outlook email. When I realized this, I paid immediately and sent them an email with my apology. A week later, I asked for shipping info, tracking number, etc. I still have received no reply and no lens. The credit card transaction has gone through, in other words it was not refused by citibank. What should I do now?

The post-auction process wasn't quick. Took 4-5 days to get an invoice and pay, and then it took another 8-9 days until shipping. However, shipping was included in the price so that was an adequate tradeoff I suppose.
