Nice item, horrible shipping
Overall an average rating only because the recommended shipping company charged a small fortune. Once the package arrived, I understood why. Enormous "overkill" on the box and packing materials. 3 types of wrap and a box big enough to send 100 swords, let alone one lonely sword. Took a small army to unwrap the item. Ill think twice about them in the future

Never again
The pick up was not great! We followed instructions given and made an appointment for pick up. Items were not ready, Workers were rude and dismissive. It was all terribly unprofessional and we will not buy from this house again.

Be very careful to check for damage
There was a large chip in the finish of the object that I purchased. Although the auction house has a disclaimer about its policy of not reporting damage and referring the buyer to the provided photographs, the photographs provided did their best at hiding the substantial chip. Buyer beware!

Shipping cost
This vendor offers in house shipping, but wanted $40 for an item that could have been sent for a third of the cost. Options required contacting a UPS store nearby, which took weeks. Ask plenty of questions before bidding on their items, so you don't have to deal with this.

High Shipping Costs
Sofe Design Auctions wanted way too much for shipping so I had the UPS Store ship my item for $13.00 less. Also, Sofe has their opening bid on all of their auction items set too high and that is why so many of their lots get passed on and don't get sold.

$50.00 for 2 lbs. UPS ground small item.
Due to family health issues I was LATE paying and I did rectify by sending my Credit Card Details via FAX. They went ahead and did NOT quote a shipping price rather just charged my card. This item was small and light, $50.00 for UPS GROUND, and got a snarky reply to my questioning these costs. I guess that is my punishment for paying late. Lesson learned guess they need the money more than the buyers.

The bidder was two months late on the payment, and never contacted the auction house to explain the situation. Payment was due 5 days following the auction. The original invoice included shipping cost and the bidder was aware of it. The item was shipped via the UPS next business day after payment was received. Also, the bidder was not charged late fees, and storage fees ($5 per day per item) as outlined in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Astronomical Shipping charges
Only issue was they do in-house shipping and charged my twice what a UPS store would have, I checked. $40 to ship a 3” tin toy to CT. BEWARE!!!

The UPS $40 was for shipping to your location itself, it did not include packaging and materials. We feel our quote was appropriate considering the speed and quality of service.

Items was packaged good. Always important! Took a little longer to ship then most, but that is more of an issue with all shipping these days.
