Darling painting, easy transaction, reasonable shipping costs. The glass did crack in shipping despite appropriate precautions but I was reframing the piece anyway and didn't even feel the need to contact them! One of my most reliable auction houses.

Called and gave credit card and received information for shipping company. Was very apprehensive as most of these companies are crooks and charge ore than the item is worth to ship. This was a pleasure to deal with. Very reasonable and fast. Received item in less than 2 days. Excellent service by auction company and shipping company.

Excellent service. Could bot have been better.

After collecting the item I noticed that it was damaged, compared to the pre auction photos, and was missing a piece of silver inlay. Contacted them via email regarding my concern and included a photo but didn’t receive the courtesy of a reply. Disappointing customer service. I will not be buying or selling with them again.

Immediate responses with concerns regarding shipping. They shipped via Fedex with extremely reasonable cost instead of using outside shipping agents who really up the cost immensely. Very satisfied.

My overall experience w J. Nicholson Auctioneer was great. My only issue was payment. They only took a wire of funds in Great Britain Pounds so I had to exchange currency and then wire-the funds. Wish they used PayPal. A bit inconvenient but not a deal breaker. I had a few questions which were answered promptly and they recommended a shipper that got my purchase from the UK to the US faster than US based shipping services.

Dont know this is the original paint scratch or damage during packaging?

Very nice items, and the people of this auction house respond to your questions timely and help you if something arises to correct the issue, My issue was with the shipping company that wanted to charge me an outrageous amount of money,, The auction house graciously help me with this issue and I got my item ok... It took time but I got it and I'm happy with it.
