The auction house failed to state that the guitar that I purchased has a small hole drilled in the shoulder of the body, to accept what could be a strap pin. This was not identified in the photos. It was disappointing to find this damage upon collecting the guitar. Otherwise, the experience with Lawrence's was fine.

I bought 8 prints and there was only 1 print pictured for the auction. It would have been nice to see photos for all 8 prints-I kept 5, gave 3 away but those weren't terrible. They answered my question about shipping quickly, and the items came from the UK to California fairly promptly. Minimal packaging had me worried, but nothing was bent. All in all, it worked out pretty well, but could have gone south if there was smashed packaging or if the 7 unpictured prints turned out to not look as good as the 1 pictured print.

You could give me the buyer's name, address and e-mail of those who won the painting for £ 180?; I can propose to him to agree on the price and be able to buy it from him. I'm trying all the ways to please my partner who made the bid of £ 200, and participated in the live auction with £ 480 and she won. The answer I had from Live Auctioneers: "According to our database, you are the winning bidder. The auction house may have made a mistake during the auction but our system reflects that the lot was awarded to you for 480 £. Patricia" Please try to help me in this way to close this situation positively. Best regards Giuseppe

For wire transfer payment they should announce the banking fees for international wire transfer in GBP so that the costumer could add the fee to the invoice amount. The service of the team is great, they try to help answering questions about the condition of lots etc.. It is very bad that there is no in-house shipping at all. Unfortunately they do not even organize (abroad) shipping with a third party shipper themselves. Thus it takes too much time and money organizing shipping on your own!

I am still trying to get my items shipped. Because the overseas connection was poor, the transmission involved with my credit card purchase of the paintings failed and the person on the phone refused to retry the connection. I had to get a UK check cut and mailed by FedEx to them, costing over $90. Then there was another delay because they decided to add £ 5 to the bill. After a phone call, this was dropped. My paintings were picked up by a shipper and there was a rough quote, with the suggestion that this would change. No further information, no follow up. I'm worried that giving a bad review here will cause my items to be lost, so please help but don't hinder resolving this. Thank you.

The auction house was completely non-responsive to at least 6 direct emails to their provided email address and through Live Auctioneers messaging system to pay for my won items which I assume I will never receive at this point. I will not bid on any items through this auction house again.

Rug was much darker than I thought. It was not beige but predominately medium-dark brown. It will be O. K. just not where I had planned to use it.

I know you sell loads of items and time counts, however being a silver collector I always need more information about the lot rather than a picture of a group of things in a bag which are not discussed in great detail in the listing. From a buyers perspective this is good news, but from a seller's point of view this puts me off bringing items to you to sell.

I was new to the process. I probably needed a statement in the email that said "Please wait till we calculate the shipping charges for you, and then wire the total amount." As it was, I stupidly wired separate amounts.

I sent a cheque in sterling for payment but was never notified that it arrived, nor when it cleared. I know that it did since my brother took care of the shipping in the U. K., but I should have been notified. Thank you.

Wow. Lots of communication problems. I even had to call the UK long distance at my own expense a couple of times to try to understand the payment/shipping process. When all of that was finally resolved they didn't even send an email to confirm that the item had been shipped. Gratefully I did receive it in good condition.

In the photo of the article it appears this with your certificate. They did not send. No answer my emails. Do not give explanations. I have sent emails through you and do not answer me. Very bad experience. I do not recommend it to anyone.
