I paid for the item that I purchased and had my shipper go and pick it up. The auction house had closed and was no longer there. I contacted liveauctioneers immediately-it has been months now and there is no action.

This is the first auction house for which I took the time to write a review. They are very responsive to questions and concerns. If I order multiple items from different auctions on the same day, Steven's Art and Antiques shows up first. 5 star service, highly recommended

I have purchased from Steven's Art & Antique several times since I discovered them about a year ago. Very unique and interesting inventory, helpful staff and good value for money spent. Special note to thank Milo who is the main person I deal with. He knows their stock extremely well, always has an interesting tidbit to share about some of their items, and always helpful getting items loaded up. Looking forward to continuing shopping with them!

In August of 2020, 8 items were purchased from Steven's Art & Antiques. The two largest jade items were damaged despite written and verbal confirmation to the contrary. All attempts to address this problem with Steven's were put off or completely ignored. Not providing the requested ACCURATE DETAILED CONDITION REPORT resulted in a loss of $1, 630.00, plus shipping. Steven's Art & Antiques is a disreputable Auction House. All attempts to have Live Auctioneers offer assistance, via numerous emails, proved equally frustrating as they said they would file a violation against their account. However, with no action ever taken, I was left with a substantial loss. Richard

The most unpleasant experience I have encountered in an auction. I won a lot in this auction house, which included several small copper pieces, but when I received it, I found a small copper dog was missing. They answered that the items were still in their company, but they were unwilling to pay the second shipping fee. They said It was the responsibility of the shipping company to shirk because they forgot to pick it up together. However, the auction house has the responsibility to check the completeness of the item when it is shipped to the third-party mailing company. The shipping company (Premier Pack N Ship LLC, the auction house recommended to me) rejected to pay shipping said this little bronze dog was not included in their shipping quote. Oh, My God. how the ridiculous answer? I don't think It should be separated in their shipping quote because this bronze dog is part of my winning lot. Both company made mistake and ask their customer pay for. I think this is a very irresponsible auction house and shipping company. Based on recent experience, I am not sure if I will do business with them again.

Superb quality and low shipping cost.

They require an old school paper form to be filled out to handle a credit card order. Took a few emails and phone calls to finish out what should have been a simple transaction. Not a show-stopper, would still use them again, but they need to join the 21st century if they want to compete with other auction houses.
