Sat in Australia I’d been chasing a particular desk lamp for sometime and had a search saved on LiveAuctioneers! It also said seamless shipping through LiveAuctioneers but that did not turn out to be the case! I bid and won and promptly received an invoice from a lovely lady called Barbara which I promptly paid! LiveAuctioneers then told me they shipped to Europe and Timbuktu and to little old ladies in Seattle but not Australia! I told then it was not different but they did not want to help! Now a little disappointed and distraught I turned to Barbara for help and she offered to pack the item up and get a quote to send it by US Postal Service! The quote came through and I promptly paid and the lamp was beautifully and professionally wrapped and arrived safety yesterday! I was so surprised as I had expected it to take a few more weeks! I have to thank Barbara and everyone at SS Auction Inc for going above and beyond to get my lamp to me! Many thanks to you all! Needless to say I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone!

This is the first time I have dealt with SS Auction. We have been buying and selling antiques for almost 40 years, and I would give them the highest rating possible on all aspects of our transaction with them. They worked with our pick-up schedule. They were super, super friendly and helpful. Again, they earned the top rating from us. It is always a pleasure to do business with someone who takes care of their end of the deal flawlessly.

This was my first time buying something from S & S Auction, and it was a positive experience from start to finish. The pictures of each item are of a good quality and clear, which is so important when considering bidding on an item. The staff were helpful by responding to my inquiries in a timely manner. They were very accommodating for picking up my purchase, which I arranged through an independent shipper instead of UPS. Be sure to make an appointment before arriving so that the pickup process goes smoothly. This Chinese carved gilt wood plaque is exquisite in person, and I'm delighted with it! I look forward to participating in future auctions held by S & S Auction.

The items were as or better than described. Payment process was without issue. I scheduled pick up and called the auction house an hour before I arrived, my items were ready and I was in an out quickly.

I got my rug its beautiful but the size is wrong. its not 4 x 7 ft Its 3.6 X 5.4 ft and i wish SS Auction had shipping service. The UPS Store shipping is too is unbelievable Expensive and some time we have no choice.

I purchased multiple lots (20 +). All were as described. All were quickly pulled for pick up upon my arrival. Staff was professional and willing to help with any needs during the pick up process.

I have to tell you, you do not have to go to New York to acquire high-end items. S & S Auction has a wide range of categories of rare and special items. I have been going there for years and now the secret is out. Enjoy!!!!

Barbara did a very nice and diligent job in helping get me a refund on my delivery fees. I had damaged merchandise and Barbara was very proactive in helping me. What started out as an issue was quickly resolved by S and S Auctions

I am always pleased with what l get at SS, lts sometimes hard buying online and just looking at pictures, sometimes your disappointed. I have never been disappointed with the things l buy here. If a peice has a problem they always point that out. Some places don't, l always feel at ease buying from them.

i tried to cancel my bid with three phone calls to the auction house as the website would not respond to my requests to cancel. i wasn't happy and did't want the item. the auction house has an answering machine with no one ever answering the phone. i left three requests with all of my information to cancel my bid. i ended up winning. i was stupid. the auction company does't answer their phone and certainly doesn't respond to any left messages
