In my experience and opinion this auction house could care less about reaching out and contacting people, I made it abundantly clear that this was a timely issue and that seemed to extend wait times and produced a lack of transparency and interaction. A terrible experience and onw I will never make the same mistake with. I have no intention of dealing with them again and would caution you in doing so.

My picture was delivered from the Prague office by DHL. It was offered for sale without a frame, but the company manager offered to have it framed and I agreed. I am very glad that I did not have to do it. I am fully satisfied with the service!

The Samson Flexor painting, that I bought at Art Torg, was demonstrably a fake. I only got my money back by hiring a Czech lawyer.

Dodgy auction House, aware to sell Fake and do not refund. Fake was certified by the estate of the artist. Honest and serious auctions houses contact estate or foundation of the artist before accepting consignment. In that case, still waiting for a full refund 10 months later, work was poorly wrap in a single walled thin cartboard and cellophane, shipped by DPD and invoiced 200 usd by DHL. Fake address and fake phone number. I should read others reviews, which state the same FAKE and FORGERY problems before bidding and paying. My fault to trust in that kind of unsavory business.

Finally I received the delivery, after long lasting e-mail exchange. I am sorry to say that I have never faced such bad and highly non professional client service. It is my second bad experience with Art Torg. year ago i've bought a painting wich was send to wrong address and came back to Art Torg totally damaged. Art Torg retransferred my payment but shortened of the transfer fee. They promised to send back $46 but never did it. The same happened again. 1. Parcel was addressed not properly, so it could not be delivered and stayed at the Post office for over the week. 2. Painting worse $4000 was simply wrapped in ordinary plastic foil without any additional protection (board, plywood). Luckily it came with no damages. Simply by luck!!! Now I understand why my previous purchase was totally damaged in transport. 3. Art Torg didn’t choose DHL, Fedex or any other door to door courier company but the cheapest local postal service; though I paid $220 for delivery. 4. As indicated on the documentation photo you send me the delivery price was 411 CZK (ca $20) Afer intervention finally I've got the money back... minus transfer fee!
