I'm delighted with my Rembrandt!!!!!!!

Loved the item and the process was smooth. The only issue was that the correct paperwork and declaration wasn't provided for antiquities and so I had to pay a huge importation tax and vat and now have to submit a claim

Auktionshaus Schwab was great. It took them a little while to respond to my questions and I don't know why. It could be cultural or it could've been a holiday. Just be patient when buying from them. I received item in great condition. It was packaged nicely and sent in a timely manner. Thank you.

Dating, description, condition and attribution were totally incorrect. Do not buy from this auction house unless you have independently reviewed the work.

I won a lot at Auktionshaus Schwab in April 2020. In June 2020, I had not yet received the item and I reached out to the auction house to ask for help. After reaching out three times and getting no response from the auction house, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. My credit card company gave the auction house two months to respond to the dispute and it never did, so the dispute was resolved in my favor and I was credited for my full payment at the end of August. I would not recommend bidding for anything at this auction house.

A very recommendable house.

1. Need a better way to make payment for international (Europe) auctions. They did not accept PayPal, and I was not willing to send my credit card info/picture through email. I had to do a bank transfer, which was convoluted and cost more than it should. 2. After I made my bank transfer (using Western Union), Auktionshaus Schwab did not confirm that my payment went through for five business days. I was worried something didn't go through and I would have appreciated quicker acknowledgment.

Awaiting arrival of the piece in question through international shipping channels. Auction house terms and directions were excellent.

Auction house is fraudulent. They listed a completely broken item without disclosing any damage whatsoever and took completely misleading photos.

Bidding via Liveauctioneers the item I was bidding on was knocked down to me. Then, after the sale was over, the auction house said that knocking it down to me was a mistake because someone at their end incorrectly pressed the sold button, this apparently disallowed me from further participation and the item was sold to a floor bidder on the following bid. They blamed your software for the error, but to my mind even if that were true they should have stopped the bidding. In the end both and the consignor lost out as I would have bid far more than the item was ultimately sold for. Some how they thought that all this was ok and just one of those things.

The piece is u fortunately a fake a grove handicraft worth nothing

The item has still not arrived so I cannot comment on whether the description was accurate or not.
