This has been an excellent experience all around. Mr. Sterling is not only a good businessman, but he is also a true gentleman.

I was dissatisfied with the way the items were packed. The expensive items were all damaged. When I contacted them, they stated I had to do the claim through Fedex. I still don't know if I'm going to get reimbursed for the damaged items since at first my claim was turned down. Stating that Fedex felt items were not properly packed. I have sent more pictures but have had no response as of yet. I feel the auction house should have done the claim not me. I would like to be reimbursed for the broken items. I have never had to do it this way before.

There was a problem in receiving my payment through the mail and Kimball M. Sterling Inc. was very understanding and patient in waiting for the payment to arrive. I really appreciated their understanding.

Betterphotos and more detailed description including approximate age would be helpful.

In house shipping is a huge plus with Sterling's Auctions. Most auction houses force you to find your own shipper.

Payment could not be made by credit card from Canada and that delayed the payment process. Shipping was a bit mixed as Westbury said I need to contact my customs broker, but I do not have one. The bought merchandise is as described. Regards, Bob Warren

The necklace appraisal online said $21, 000 +. When I had it appraised the value was only $5, 000. They were not even the right stones as originally stated. The description said untreated but the stones I received were treated.

My item was packed for shipping like it was a priceless treasure-that alone puts me in a position where I cannot say enough good things about this auction house! (Treadway could learn a thing or two from them in that department)

Shipping was expensive, but after receiving the items, one of which was VERY HEAVY, I understand why. Thanks!

Mr. Kimball personally and helpfully went out of his way to help me with a slight snag in the purchase/shipping process. His responses were on time and to the point, and the problem was solved immediately because of his efforts and those of his wife and staff.
