I bid on a Samovar on June 21, 23 and received it Sept. 15, 23. After receiving the Samovar, I noticed that the item had two broken legs because the seller did not pack the item correctly. (wrapped 18 ponds samovar in one sheet of bobble wrap and put it in regular box sending from Italy to DC) Moreover, the seller did disclose anywhere in their AD that the Samovar had few dent and missing parts. Also, the tray that came with Samovar was just trash. I have pictures and proof for everything. I tried to reason with them and sent an email but radio silence on their end. Please do not purchase anything from these people. They are scammers! During the two months and half that I was waiting for my shipment I sent 5 to 6 emails, and I received only 2 responses from them. Very bad in communications! Not only they did not pack the shipment correctly they did not spend a few dollars to insure the package!

Every experience with this auctioneer was awful. There was a significant flaw in the print that was not disclosed, which made it worthless. The packing was so poor the print was nearly folded down the middle, permanently creasing (and further ruining) the print. Shipping also took two months, and only after inquiring on multiple occasions. I've participated in many live and online auctions and this has been by far the worst experience to date. Bid at your own risk.

1 month still no reaction from seller

The description of the lot was very misleading. As a result I was very unhappy with the item and I expressed my wish to return it on my own expenses and also cover the initial shipping cost. The seller simply informed me that I could not return the item and that it was "my problem" if I expected something else.

The book was exactly as expected and the staff was very responsive. A very positive experience!
