All Items in Listing Not Shipped/Included
Auction listing was for a celadon bust and hardwood stand, as shown in photos. Only received the ceramic bust. Contacted seller, who said the stand was not included, but no where in the listing was it disclosed that the stand was not part of the lot. Seller was very aggressive and rude when we spoke, and in fact, sent me an invoice for the stand, without my consent. Beware of this smarmy auction house. I've been in the auction/antique business for over 25 years, and this place is the type that gives the business a bad name.

The shipper actively cooperates with me to find the whereabouts of the goods. Wonderful auction house...
The lot I won in this auction had the dimensions misdescribed, causing difficulty in shipping. The owner of the auction house intervened personally to make it all work out. They are clearly dedicated to personal customer support, and I would not hesitate to do business with Metropolitan Auctioneers again.

At the moment the auction says "sold" because the transaction is complete, at the end of the bidding on each lot which means the title has transferred to the new owner, and the sale is final, there are no returns.

Never Again! The worst experience in my life!
This has been such a nightmare that it has literally stopped me from buying at LiveAuctioneers again. The seller not only did not ship my item for weeks after payment was cleared but his outrageous fees (like 3 handling fees) and $36.00 to ship a 4” item in the states is unconscionable. The fees were over $100! The service was awful and so awful I’m frankly afraid to ever bid on LiveAuctioneers again!
