Was sold a gold chain described as "22k gold" that upon arrival was clearly NOT gold and did not test s gold when I acid tested it, most likely was brass. When contacting Apple Tree about the mistake, they were very short and rude with me and begrudgingly refunded me after I sent the chain back with no apologizes, ever. I have now been blocked from future bidding with them for THEIR mistake-unbelievable!

ATAC called me to arrange pickup of some items I purchased. We agreed to a date and time, but when I arrived they were closed and said they had no record of such an arrangement. This after I had driven across the state in snowy weather. They called the following week to arrange shipment and the first thing they asked for was my credit card. I suggested that, after failing to meet me as per our agreement, I felt they should pay the shipping. They refused. Very condescending and patronizing, especially for a dealer that appears to specialize in fare that is only slightly better than flea market merchandise. There are many other, more respectable houses to deal with in the area. Save your money for them. You'll be glad you did.

I still don't have my ring, shipping is difficult but paid and still no ring. Ridiculous.

There were some logistics to make sure that these items ended up in the right place, and the auction house did it well and effectively. Good items, too.

The descriptions of the items are very limited and you may not get what you expect, also the shipping costs are higher than some other auction houses since they do not do in house packing and shipping.

Congratulations to the person who out bided me for the auction of Con Bakers Ephemera personal and business letters 5 **********, 5644, 5645 and 5656, in October 2023 My great grandmother was the daughter of WIlliam Batty Harmston, if there is anything you would like to sell from this auction or would like to share as I did also win a few items on this auction. I was sold a product that collectors refer to as "garbage." The coins I received had all valuable ones removed, and it was not an accident. Anyone who deals in coins could spot it in less than a minute, so it was not disclosed honestly. The cherry on the cake was the roll marked "War Nickel" (supposed to be 35 % silver) full of 2010P. The valuation should have reflected this, but the seller was not forthcoming. In our case, the maximum value of the coin couldn't be more than $50. The seller's website had a blurry picture, which should have been a red flag. Unfortunately, their terms and conditions state that they don't know what they sell or the value of their products. That's an easy and pathetic way out for them. So, I would advise buyers to beware and stay away from them.

The auction house was very responsive, but the payment process was not streamline and payment was needed separately for auction and shipping. When all was said and done, it took more than three weeks from the end of the auction to get the firearm in hand. That said, I am still satisfied.
