This was my first purchase from Southwestern Style Gallery and it was a breeze to buy from them! Very accurate description of my necklace. I received my item well-packed and in record time. Will certainly buy from them again!

Let me say first of all that this auction house did not charge a buyers premium. In the era of close to 30 % premiums that some houses charge that is a bonus. The problem seems to be with their shipping department. I paid May 2 and the items were shipped May 5 with tracking. Good so far, except that the shipping charges were very low, much lower than they should have been. Never the less I received a tracking # and followed it to Chicago. There, it did an abrupt about face and headed back to Texas. Arrived back in Texas on May 20. I figured I'd hear something from them, letting me know what happened and a new tracking #. Nope, not a word. On May 25th I finally had to contact them to find out what was going on and was told very self righteously they had mailed it to my address on the Live Auctioneers account and there shipping department was "working on the issue" and they would get back to me in the "next few days". Couldn't be bothered to let me know what was going on, and didn't check the address with me so I guess you know who screwed up! Finally got the items on June 3. I know things go south. It's how you handle the situation that you are judged on. No communication, and then a snotty answer doesn't help. The items were of high quality but the service, when something went wrong, sucks.

Although the transaction went smoothly and the people were courteous and friendly, I was disappointed to learn one of the objects was damaged before it was sent, and I did not receive it. Of course, I wasn’t charged for it.
