These folks are absolutely the best! We have bought from them both in person AND online. We have received ONLY exceptional service and honesty, making our experiences as pleasant and easy as possible. At this auction, we about froze in an unheated barn doing preview but Darrell was incredibly gracious and let us take all the time we needed. Pickup was a bit difficult because there was a blizzard but we worked around it.

The people I spoke with were great — super polite, very accommodating. My only complaint, per se, is the information on the item, specifically regarding condition, was non-existent. The provided pictures did not even come close to telling the tale. The moment the item was in hand, there were literally a dozen different things that were extremely important to the integrity of the item and not a single one was mentioned in the description. This type of thing is not exclusive to them, unfortunately. Auction houses all over the country routinely omit condition information and instead make the potential buyer rely on pictures alone. In my opinion, when you solicit an item, the impetus is not only on the potential buyer to request more accurate information, but on the seller to make sure your potential buyers, especially those who are not able to view something in-person, know any relevant information regarding the condition because it affects the value. It is extremely important. Everyone knows this truth about collectibles, especially the auction houses, and one can only assume things like this are not described because auction houses know more information does one of two things: invites a higher potential price, or a lower one. Couple that with a disclaimer as the accuracy of any listing, and it can make for a very perilous endeavor to participate as a buyer. Do your due diligence.

The Auction House representatives were very helpfull & pleasant on the telephone. The same can be said for the Shipping Agent representative. Had a wonderful experience with Darrell and his team! I purchased a high dollar piece of jewelry, and was concerned about the shipping process, and particularly the hand-off with the shipping company. Darrell worked with me and the shipper, to help reassure me... and help the process go smoothly. Nice folks... enjoyed working with them!

I wouldn’t have bid if I knew there was no shipping available. I had to contact someone to pickup the items and pay them $70 for packaging and shipping, that would have cost $5-$6 with any other auction house.

This was an easy transaction which made a nice change from having to chase down an invoice and lengthy arrangements with a shipper. I would work again with this auction house. Many thanks.

Really helpful staff-I had several questions and spoke with the auction house staff on the phone. They answered all my questions and worked with me to get my item shipped appropriately. Would recommend!

Some of these auctions send the items to another shipping department and they take advantage of you with extra fees that are not necessary like. Ffl and handling fees I was charged 74.00 for shipping etc. not bidding on this auction anymore.
