Great Auction house. All ways have good items up for auction. Did not wait long to receive items. Items where we’ll package and did not cost to much for shipping

Took 3 weeks to ship my item. Way too long no matter how busy. This was a small flag less than a pound box. Other than that item was just as described and was carefully shipped. I would buy again.

We do need to correct the incorrect assertion that the invoice "took 3 weeks" to ship: The auction you took part in occurred 2/28, invoices were sent on 2/29, your invoice payment settled with our 3/7 merchant batch, your invoice shipped on 3/18. Within our terms of sale, the invoice email, the invoice receipt email, and our buyer resource page we provide clear language relating to shipping. "Following payment of your invoice, depending on the number of invoices in queue, shipping may take up to 14 business days. Our shipping department processes as quickly as possible. Following an auction event, hundreds of invoices enter the shipping queue and these take time to properly process and pack. Your patience and understanding is appreciated." This information is provided in order to set and manage expectations for those taking part in the auction. Your invoice was processed and shipped within our published guideline. Thank you for your feedback regarding your transaction. The auction took place on 2/17/24. Your payment by check did not arrive to us until 2/29/24. Then, at the time your check arrived, we did not yet have an FFL on which to dispose and ship-so our firearm department had to make contact with your FFL in order to ascertain a license for disposition of your firearm. We apologize, but we do not have control over USPS and their operations. You are always welcome to make payment by card, in which case the shipping evolution would have occurred more quickly. Many auction houses make a special point of jacking up the shipping costs into the stratosphere, and then telling you some nonsense story about how it had to be "double boxed" or some such baloney. I've bought twice from Centurion and both times the shipping was fair and reasonable. Thanks!

Quick to invoice and ship, auction as described, Poorly packaged.
Very quick, reasonable buyer premium, flat shipping rate. Only gripe is the poor packaging, thankfully my item wasn't damaged this time.@ Centurion, spend an extra minute and a few pennies in packaging material and save yourselves the headache from when something is damaged.

Dear Brad: Thank you for your comment regarding shipping. It is most often the case where our shipping department over-packs items. They typically overly-cautious in accounting for the potential for damage in transit. It is also very common for our shipping department to receive compliments from buyers on how well items are packed. Ensuring items arrive safely to our buyers is extremely important to us and we have strict protocols in place to make certain we are doing everything possible to this end. I am not exactly certain what might have been the case with your specific shipment. I am passing your concern along to the shipping manager so that they can pull the video footage for your packing evolution to understand how it was packed/who packed it/and take corrective action.
