With all due respect, I'd like to respond with information that could be helpful in the future. Having confidence in the absentee bidding system could save you and others time in the future and also perhaps prevent a bidder from losing the bid on a coveted lot due to a misunderstanding of the process. For obvious reasons, no auctioneer onLiveauctioneers.com has access to client bid amounts, max bid amounts, time of bid placement or any other specifics of confidential bid placement. There is no mechanism for seeing, canceling, or otherwise affecting a user's bidding activity. In your case, and others, the Bid History displayed on the site can be deceiving and perhaps cause a misunderstanding. I'm hopeful some insight might help users. For full clarification, I contacted support@Liveauctioneers.com and, as usual, they were quick to respond with the following response and transcript of the bidding progression on this lot: Below is the absentee bid transcript history for that specific lot. "It looks like Bidder 2 placed the maximum bid of 1000 on the 3rd of Dec and then Bidder 1 placed a much higher bid of 1300 on the 6th but then retracted it to 1100 on the 9th of Dec."
